Never seen Dad so happy
I didn’t feel like being bothered this morning, all I wanted to do was go back to sleep. Dad finally convinced me to get up and take a little walk out in the fresh air. I was hesitant at first, but reluctantly agreed. Once outside, nature called and I had my first poop since surgery. Man, did that feel good! I’m not sure who was more excited, me or dad. He was so happy for me, you would have thought I just caught the winning touchdown at the superbowl.
I’m exhausted, didn’t know pooping counted as exercise, but right now licking my butt is exercise. Gonna take a quick nap while I am waiting for my next pills ( dad still thinks he’s fooling me by hiding them in various meats )
I was so proud of myself, I just had to share it with the world.

Awww Skittles you were cute as a baby. Happy dance for poopies.. It always takes a little bit for that to occur because of all the pain meds you are taking after surgery.

Yeah, pooping a d butt licking count as exercise the first week of recovery 🙂

Yes Skittles, we celebrate those crazy things around here. And we are very, very proud of you.
Keep up the healing sweet pupperz (love that puppy pic by the way!). You’re doing great. I know that you are just going to be the ROCK STAR of the Tripawd Nation. You, your Mom and your Pa are stronger than you know. I can see the sparkle in your eyes and you have what it takes to rock it!
